Steve Engle: Tracker works when it wants to even after changing permissions in settings. Samsung tracker works all the time. If Activity tracker would work all the time I would prefer to use it. If they get the bugs worked out.

Linda Cannady-Balom: When I initially started using this app it was working well. However I've had problems with the step counter not tracking my steps on several occasions. I have to make sure each morning the app is working. Also I've noticed that the tracker is off with the number of steps I take throughout the day. ?

M Crenshaw: So far so good. Like the user interface. Like that not reliant on GPS. Accurate after tweaking the settings for height and/or stride length. I've seen some reviews mention activitytracker still counts steps on a car ride... Will do test for that next. Edit: No one time purchase or lifetime price. Tony Williams: It's a pretty good app at recording your daily steps - but sometimes I find in the evening that it has only recorded about 100 steps, when I know I have walked at least 5 miles!? WHY? Thanks for your suggestions - I have removed battery optimization on my Motorola phone and will see if that cures the problem! Yes, it's OK now.

Alayna Sefton: This seemed to work well the first week I tried it. Since then it's been either not recording at all or skipping steps. i.e. it counts 5 or 6 steps, stops counting for about 16 steps then counts another 5 or 6 sreps, repeat. It does not 'catch up'. Today I deleted this app. My walk measured 1.5miles and 3,217 steps for 66 mins walking. Checking exact route measurement on google maps gave 3.2 miles(5.15km) which is about right as people walk 3 to 4 miles an hour.

A Google user: Far too optimistic. I've used several other pedometers, and they were always reasonably close to the readings on my Fitbit. But this app is over 1200 steps higher, by the end of the day.

A Google user: Killed my homescreen after instsllation, after getting permission for Google fit exited, and never showed anything at all except the intro. Restarting did not help. After uninstall, (difficult with no homesceen - switched to another launcher) everything is ok. Is it a virus? Edit - OK, i am pretty sure it's not a virus, but i tried again and it's the same all over . It screws up the native Meizu launcher (''FlyMe'') but Nova launcher works. In any case it doesn't go beyond the intro.

A Google user: I only use this app when doing my daily exercise as i dont carry my phone around while at work. What i would find helpful is if you could put what exercise you were completing, walking, running or put in your own etc. Also, if you could turn the app off and on as needed rather than having to force stop it, that would be handy. A Google user: Crashes often. I'm not sure if it's because of my phone (S10) but there will be days when it will stop counting my steps, to days where it doesn't even begin counting my steps. I want this to work, as I like the user interface, but for now other apps are more reliable.
