For $15.99 a month i was expecting the kids spotify to be similar to the regular app. I created my daughter's account and it just sits there loading or I get the message stating something went wrong. Accodring to past reviews the app has been out for a while and had a recent update in October but it looks like nothing has changed. It's a big disappointment, especially where I'm paying as much as I am for the subscription.

James Sweeney: Terrible. No casting functionality. Unnecessarily restricted access music targeted at kids e.g Movie/TV soundtracks. Not worth the premium subscription. Will be ending my Spotify subscription entirely asap. Tired of an arrogant, ignorant service provider who completely ignores their customers. This is just another example of that. The lack of response to any recent negative reviews speaks volumes Spotify.

Thierry Lemay-Proulx: The concept is really nice but it's lacking filter for the language. It's mostly in english. I can get song and stories in Spotify in other languages but can't find them in Spotify kids. It shouldn't that hard to offer content in other languages.

Vesco Jessi: Worst app ever. We would "like" a song, go to her liked list and there were just random songs in there, and none of the ones we just "liked". Then, went to play one of those random "liked" songs, (that she didn't choose), and it started with an f'bom. This app needs serious work. We are deleting and having her use the regular spotify for now.

Campbell Mackenzie: The idea of this app is great, but the reality is very poor with two glaring errors. The app doesn't have Spotify connect or casting enabled, this means that you can't listen to music on a smart speaker or home theatre system. The content available is extremely limited to the point of being useless. As an example, searching for frozen brings up several songs from the movie and numerous soundtracks for sequels and variants in other languages. But the main frozen soundtrack is not available!

Aiesha Maxwell: Extremely limited functionality. I understand wanting to lock out explicit content and allow users a way to have the younger members of the family each have their own account without the rigmorole of separate logins and devices, but why reinvent wheel? Developers, consider how Netflix does things, or even Instagram. Instead, we have an app that is missing a lot of functionality: no casting, no playback settings, difficulty adding favourites, and more. Disappointing. Very disappointing.

nitrobenz: I subscribed to the family plan to set up a kid account, but I was very disappointed by what's missing. I tried was to look up one of his favorites ('ABC Rock Song' by Dream English Kids) to find it's not available but it's definitely a kids song. I went through the rest of his lullaby list to recreate it and discovered in addition to unavailability of other songs there's no ability to create a playlist. It's just enter a song and listen to something similar, not even the song I actually entered

Ben Derry: Not worth installing. Lacks important features like playlists or streaming to smart devices. We live in a world where products can be released before they are finished I guess. It's frustrating waiting for features knowing it's probably just gonna be broke when you get it.

D. C.: On the phone, it's ok so far. However, I'm trying to get it on the PC, and it's not able to without downloading another app like BlueStacks. I do not like bluestacks, I just want to be able to allow my child to use spotify kids on the laptop without having an email account to use an adult account, which my child does not need either of those, or having to go through another app to use it. There should be a PC version for kids! I'm getting frustrated enough with this app right now, that I'll either attempt another day to find a way around it to play the kids app on the PC, or I will just cancel the account before the month is up.
