Step 1 go to settings and search the app name step 2 find the app name and disable all permissions step 3 search vpn in settings and then turn it off. TNTt873: From a child under control of this app, I absolutely hate it, it is the worst thing ever, my stepdad set up the app on my phone to make my life miserable. Him using the app on my phone caused me to get extremely depressed in the course of a few days, it started causing me to get suicidal and self harm thoughts, I started to get more aggressive towards family members because of it. If your a parent planning to get this app and use it on your child, just be warned of what will happen. I hate it.

Asher Carswell: I will give my (somewhat biased) view as a child under the control of this app, A) this is ridiculously easy to disable, and almost anyone can do it, even accidentally. Furthermore if ANYTHING on the child's side gets changed by that phone (changing the VPN, clearing the cache, affecting most system settings) will break the entire app and keep it from doing anything. B) invasive, tracks everything and reports to Verizon and parent (The Brave browser does prevent this) C) Randomly stops data use

Max Brandal: Doesn't give the correct location and it has had errors 3 times now. My parents got this to help me and them but how is it supposed to work if the location and app monitoring system doesn't work half of the time. It isn't really worth the effort if it doesn't give you the results that you want.

Kevin Wimberly: This app doesn't work on Android 12. The Family Safety App finally updated to 8.23 to fix this, however the companion app required for the child's phone doesn't work as it's still version 8.22. Unsure why they would update one and not the other. Hope it is soon.

A Google user: Just awful! Constantly have to fix connection issues which is very frustrating. The kids have the ability to disable the app on their phone which really defeats the purpose. The app's constant connection issues combined with kids ability to disable the app has made parenting and monitoring kids activity VERY difficult & infuriating. I am currently looking into other apps because I will not be using this one!

I can't connect to most public wifi networks and there is no stated reason why in my parent's app, it's a battery drain to the point where I need to constantly have battery saver on to get through the day, and it just auto blocks most social media (reddit, tiktok, snapchat, discord) when it bugs out and needs to reset itself.

Nick Stockton: Honestly my dad did install it on one of my older phones, so im a bit biased but anyway this app is SUPER EASY TO BYPASS, it tries to auto-close if you click on manage vpns in the top bar; but without cache, it gives you enough time to quickly mash through the delete process, and then you just deactive its device administrator and uninstall the app, it will also make any phone that isn't top of the line overheat and be extremly slow, honestly just dont pay for this service really easy to bypass.

Dennis Temple: I installed the app on my son's phone. When I try to accept the terms, the screen will not scroll. As a result the "accept" button does not activate. I have to hit No and I'm stuck. I just can't even get in!! So frustrating for an app that has the Verizon name attached to it!
