Denise McKenna: This is a good little quick reminder & is especially good for those of us who like to cross things off a list, LOL. The only issue that I have is that when you put an entry in & it's longer than the screen, it truncates it, which would be fine if you could pull it up & look at it, but you can't. All you can do when you click on it is check it off your list or check it back on. You can, however, send it to your messaging service or email and it will print the entirety of your entries.

Billy Hall: A pretty nice app resembling some older Memo type apps. Deny permissions at the beginning, and select the "don't ask again" option (you may need to close and reopen once after denying the first time to see that option). It has an auto save feature, a nice organized list, and this app's idea of "contains ads" means that you'll see just one ad bar in the title list below your notes. If you create a lot of them, maybe more ad bars will appear, but the main idea of this statement is...no popups!

I can use it everywhere for anything from reminders, to do lists, quick notes when you are learning at meetings, conferences or viewing videos, etc...the different ways this app comes in handy is endless. It is My favorite grocery list maker. After I pick up each item, I simply "x" it off the list and resave.

Gwen S: So I can't find my last review & I think it got deleted, but generally speaking this is not a good ap. It keeps asking to access my contacts, even though I really don't need it for that and I have a perfectly good caller ID already installed. The ads are also super annoying and just unprofessional. I get if they come up on entertainment apps, it's annoying but I get it, but I need an app that let's me focus on sorting out my notes and get work done, not try to distract me with pop-ups.

Doug Greene: Good app, but almost FORCES you to give it access to your phone numbers and contacts. I've been looking for a good, lightweight app for journaling while offline. That's the ONLY thing I want to use it for. I do NOT want it accessing my contacts and phone and other information they have no reason to access. And yet, even in the paid version, they put up a splash screen asking for that access EVERY SINGLE TIME. And there is NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. I contacted their support, and they said there are two options: "This can be solved in two ways: 1) If you agree to the permissions requested, you will enter the app without being asked any questions. 2) If you press on your "back button" twice, you will enter the app without agreeing to the permissions. " That's a deal breaker for me. So instead I found "Notepad - Simple Notes". It is FREE, does NOT ask for access to your contacts, and even has "tagging" for better organization of your notes. I encourage you to NOT use this program, and instead go with the better FREE one that does NOT ask to scour your phone for personal information.

Kim Bennett: I really liked this at first use. Liked it enough to pay for the ad free version. While they are not too intrusive I am still getting ads. UPDATE: I figured out by logging in using my Google account the ads went away. It's not super intuitive though, I can't easily figure out how to move between the notes screen and the call screen but I am liking it.

Brenda Wilkins Hudson: Have used this app for a couple of years. Was great. Until about a month ago when it suddenly just froze up and quit working After trying to find a way to recover some very important information I finally admitted defeat and uninstalled the app. Not a happy camper. What should I have to do? Save notes on 2 or 3 other apps to backup in case it might mess up. Again. I don't think so.

Justa Cherokeegrl: Was a wonderful app until it was over run with ads that drastically reduced its ease of use. Thanks to the developer for the reply but your ads have rendered your product unusable due to the fact that I can't use it without clicking on the ads over and over. Every time it moves to a new line, I can't proceed until I click on the newest ad. I understand your desire to get money for your free app, but this is ridiculous and I've gone to an actually free notepad app.

Cassandra Bankes: App is extremely aggressive and invasive. Each time it is opened it forces you to allow it to display over other apps. There is no by pass except to allow then go into app settings and turn off app overlay. This process needs to be repeated every time you use the app. It also tries to take control of your phone calls in/out popping up a note pad for every call that blocks access to your dial pad. There are far better less invasive and less aggressive apps that do the exact same thing.

A Google user: It was great for jotting down reminders and notes, but the checklist option did NOT work. for me. The items appeared, but there was no box to check off, no button to press. The only way to use it was to delete the tasks i had already done, so I couldn't reuse the checklist. This mode didn't work, but the notes option was great.
