Ken Erickson: Worked decent when we were paying the subscription fee. As soon as we opted out of the paid subscription with insights, the funny business began... The app started regularly disconnecting multiple times per night, it would take a lllooonnnggg time to load with the red circle spinning, then the video would play uninterrupted for 4 seconds before another delay, etc. It's too bad Nanit has chosen to operate in such fashion. They had a great thing going, but would not buy this item again.

Max Sawa: Camera to server upload is slow, so if you hear something and want to replay the video/event from last few minutes to see if you need to go in the room you have to wait. Also if you navigate the app too quickly, causing a refresh, the camera disconnects. Smart sheets is also not realistic since baby goes into crib with a sleep sack - can't measure.

Pawe? Gumienny: Connect issues all the time! When I want to quickly check the camera it will take a very long time to load. Unreliable and wouldn't have bought this camera had I know how poor the app works. I've tried different WiFis, resetting everything, and no luck. Looking at other better options currently.

Haylie Batres: The Nanit is the most expensive inconsistent app camera combination ever. I will never recommend this to anyone. Everyone I have talked to who has the nanit feels the same way. Save your money get a cheap camera on Amazon and have it work the same if not better. The amount of updates I am required to do are astonishing, updates for what? Horrible connection. Monthly subscription to what? Something that barely works?!

Zak Spencer: Camera quality is nice a clear, but the app sucks. Trouble loading, lots of buffering. I'll restart my phone or the app and it usually fixes it for a minute. Update. It's like the longer we have it the worse the app gets. Lots of trouble connecting to the camera regardless of what we do to fix it. Outrageous considering the price if this thing

Khriz D: Comes in with a 1 year subscription and it was good, after that it doesn't work right. Notifications don't show, it disconnects all the time and take for to load, we have great strong wifi. All this issues started when the one year subscription was up. I wouldn't support Nanit since they are forcing a subscription for it to work decently, on a device that is already hundreds of dollars worth at the store.

Jessica Krueger: When it works it is a phenomenal product. It typically puts me at ease. I've had a couple times where it was not working properly for a few minutes and all of a sudden the feed came through and my child was screaming and it made me wide awake from a dead sleep. That's happened twice now in the 8ish months we've been using it. Besides that, it's great. The nightlight is extremely useful. I will say that it a lot of times does not document appropriately when she wakes for a minute in the night.

April Lucas: We used to love this product, but now the camera and sound are always cutting out and buffering. With our child on a different floor, we need a reliable monitor. It's a shame that it's so expensive and then you have to buy a "subscription" to use the features. And now, the features don't even work. Very upset and do not recommend unless Nanit makes some major changes.

Nolan Flower: Hopefully you read these reviews before you buy the nanit. Run while you can! It is terrible! It is almost impossible to set up because of connection issues. I have to click try again upwards of 20 times. It says error 404. Just keep hitting retry and you might connect. Once you do welcome to more bugs and a lag time around 10 minutes. It will try to tell you that it's your router or your internet or any other excuse. Look at these reoccurring reviews. It's the nanit.

Natty Galde: I've just about had it with this app. Even with auto-uodate enabled, i always have to update it manually. And the only indication to do so is when the app freezes, crashes, or lags. Tonight it lagged fully TWENTY MINUTES from when I checked in on the baby. I almost had a heart attack thinking someone was in the room with her when we were both in the living room. I just don't understand what I'm paying for anymore. There's far too many glitches. How hard is it to keep a live view?!
