Ryan Quinn: If you like having power on your phone you're not going to like this app. I have used both the Android and iPhone versions, and I have yet to find an app that soaks up battery power like a dry sponge as much is this app does. Downloading the latest version is meaningless. With the app in use, and making calls, I get about five hours with a full charge (and that is also while charging the phone at every opportunity I get). With the app disabled or removed, the same phone battery lasts all day.

A Google user: Often won't automatically start tracking my trips resulting in me needing to manually enter the trip. This in turn often results in me getting compensated for fewer miles than I actually drove. I have it set to automatically track all trips at anytime so there should never be a time where it doesn't track.

A Google user: If you or your company is considering mileage tracking services, stay away from Motus. Truly it is a great concept, but with very poor quality of service and poor execution. I have to change my password every time I attempt to log in. The app also says my password is incorrect even though I can log into the Motus website just fine. Trips don't save and don't upload from app. App logs out in the middle of recording resulting in lost recorded trips. Also manual entry in the app does not work at all, and gets stuck in an eternal loading screen. High battery usage. Would be nice if it integrates with Google maps so that my trips can be imported to Motus from my Google maps timeline. Even in the first month of using this, my company has already begun to consider other methods because just about everyone has been having issues. No responses from Motus so far regarding our issues either.

A Google user: This app is horrible. It incorrectly tallies miles based on quickest route available and doesn't understand traffic fluctuations or typically used routes. Not only this, but you cannot correct the incorrect miles it automatically records. Unfortunately, my employer requires this app to be used so I'll have to constantly pester management to address the consistent incorrect mileage records I order to correct the apps mistake. A largely inaccurate and unreliable app.
