David Jones: Very clunky. And when you launch the app it doesn't matter what you have the location set to, it usually goes straight to Dublin weather. So you have to close it and reopen if you want local weather. Prone to just hanging at times.
Kevin Byrne: Very poor GPS location processing. The software is often continually looping unable to determine location within the app, despite the phone knowing precisely where I am. The transfer and processing of the phone's location seems to be very glitchy in the software.
Mark Charles: Frustrating. App itself is decent but continually defaults to Dublin even with location permissions set which I'd rather not provide it. Is it really that difficult just to allow the user to set a default location.
Brendan Cullen: National weather app that's useless. My job depends on a reasonably accurate forecast but this constantly gets it completely wrong. The radar will show heavy rain in an area when there is none. Has cost me a lot of wasted hours because of its inaccuracy. Shall uninstall it and seek a more reliable one.
A Google user: Main issue i have with app is that by default location goes to Dublin even though i have my location turned on. Only way for me to get my local weather is to open the app, then turn location off and then back on. Then it corrects itself to my location. Please fix
A Google user: Weather information is good and fairly accurate, but for a modern day weather app, the widget is dire and to add to that, the widget only gives information for the nearest main weather station, not your nearest local met eireann station, in my case I get Cork City, 30 miles away, but Moorepark met station is only 9 miles away.
A Google user: very good detailed weather reports and maps for almost everyone with further infos aimed at farming, coast and sea, but also relevant for general population. efficient app, several levels of detail. only downside: cannot manually choose location.
A Google user: Very bad. Give back old version. Settings options missing. Rainfall radar timescale useless for judging arrival time of approaching rain. Appaling lack of clarity compared to previous version. Cannot set location, assumes last gps or dublin. No satallite views.
A Google user: The app appears to be designed as way to demonstrate weather icons to 6 year olds. Press play and watch the cartoon weather map change. I'm uninstalling, this is very disappointing, really met eireann you should be able to do better.
A Google user: The app doesn't have an option to set the location unless GPS is on (and even then reports that GPS is off). The location is always reset to default (i.e. Dublin). The widget won't run at all.
