Dennis W Smaltz: Better off just sending customer a Google maps link for the duration of load. That way you have anytime access to your persionaly history.. Without any 3rd partyin your phone. Collection and sending your information. The Application should provide the same information as it did originally the load info of past and present trips.. the location history DBF. It should not just start up and then stop.. in my perticular case I need the Conferm delivery location and contact broker.. it was there..

Howard Moore: just realized, somehow they're popping in, activating tracking without notifying me. I don't mind being tracked. But, don't like they can activate ANYTHING in my phone without my permission. Reply: Still, you should notify when load is assigned. At least I'll be aware. Communication

Kevin Keller: So I am supposed to download this app for my load but for some reason it just WILL NOT DOWNLOAD!! I've tried wifi on, wifi off. Hotspot on, hotspot off. Nothing works! It just says "waiting for download" with that annoying as hell green circle spinning around! Very VERY frustrating!!! Update.... I did as you suggested and I finally got it to work. Clearing the data was the key. Thank you!

A Google user: with most trucks running elogs w/GPS along with some sort of email communications, WHY BOTHER WITH AN APP LIKE THIS? I was not comfortable HAVING TO GIVE PERMISSIONS FOR PHONE ACCESS. And that was the only way the app would install. The tracking part I can sort of understand, but my company tracks me already through the on board computer/GPS system installed. As soon as this load is finished I am removing it

A Google user: 1- Does not automatically report my location to shipper. 2- Sends me texts extremely early in the morning (0300 to 0500), interrupting my sleep. 3- Tells me to click a link for automatic tracking. Automatic means set and forget. 4- Continues with #2 even after trip is complete and load is delivered. My personal view: this "tracking mechanism" is a time-waster that harasses the driver.
