We listened to your feedback. Most of you told us about the difficulty in entering the text on the TV using the on screen keyboards and in this version you can now type on your mobile device using the native keyboard to enter text in text fields on the STB screens.

Mobile Gamepad – In the MyRemote section, we have added a gamepad. You can now use this gamepad on your mobile application to play the games over Jio Set Top Box in the JioGames. Unlike the physical remote for STB, the gamepad on the application adapts to the controls the game needs and hides the unnecessary button cluster. This elevates the playing experience by making the controls much simpler to use.

MyMedia section enables file access everywhere , in-home as well as remotely from outside of home by simply connecting a storage device to the router or stb. It also enables you to view and share local media contents with other devices connected over the same Wi-Fi network. Moreover, you can create personalised playlist for songs as well as albums for the photos. You can even choose to play the media, songs, video and photos, over some other connected and supported screen that is on the same Wi-Fi network. This works well to view the contents of your mobile over a TV that is connected via a Jio STB.

coolsoul surfer: Experience of using this app is really bad especially after the last update. There are lots of things that you cannot do: My Network tab - it doesn't let you type password if it contains a dot. But you can use dot in the password on web interface! Please resolve this. My Media tab - It doesn't let you view storage drive folders from explorer. You need to go into either Video or Music folder to view the content. Also, when you play movies/videos from this app, it doesn't keep the screen awake!

Deva Arjun: Not great..needs a lot of improvement. For eg..we could only cast the video to the setup box..but couldn't change audio options (though the video has multiple audio tracks,it picks the default audio only) or add subtitles to the video, even if we have the srt file.

Prakash A: Not good at all. It's only use is as a remote via wi-fi. Does not locate my stb via bluetooth. Not able to use as a game pad via wi-fi. A lot of lag when playing games connected via wi-fi. Don't see multi-purpose use of the app.

Darshit Agarwal: I would definately like to have alphabetic keypad because searching by hovering keyboard on TV is a real pain,secondly please add a voice search option in the app too similar to actual remote I am more of a phone controlling person when it comes to smart setup boxes Thanks.....it would be really appreciated if the developers look into tha matter :)

Jay KM: The remote does not have most of the functions. You can only access the pendrive connected to stb or router through this app. You cannot access it from another pc. They don't enable ftp or samba. Why do things proprietary. When I connect my pendrive to router, it should be accessible from all devices that connect to router, not only from some apps by the vendor. Jio stb is a waste, so does Jio home app. They restrict everything and give only their apps.

Gourav Gupta: Text typed on the mobile app text box remains even when you change a different text pad. Instead provide the interface like mobile touch screen or the laptop touchpad to make the internet surfing seamless. Here the Qwerty keyboard must appear only when required. Also, while we can see the stored media on tv, must allow mobile mirroring as well. Kids are attending classes in mobile for 5 months now, viewing google meet/ zoom classes onTV will surely comfort them. Is the mirroring available??

Rahul khanna: Thanx to JIO for providing latest technology services continuously. In jio home, feature of connecting Myremote with TV using WiFi and Bluetooth is excellent . In case of bluetooth, connecting it first time, we have to pair it using hard remote or wifi remote open in another mobile The feature of gamepad is also fantastic , for gamepad we have to connect soft remote via bluetooth .I request jio, if possible please provide a short video in display so that it will be more helpful for customers.

mahendra shidling: New feature of playing games with soft remote is really good. Initially for the first time it asks for pairing, this is successful by approving on mobile side and pressing of OK button on hard remote so that jio stb knows it. After this process the mobile will connect to stb seamlessly that is just scan and connect. good number number of hanges 6 are being added and also games are getting updated. love this feature. thank you

Cruel Lover: I think ya'll should compress the buttons of the remote according to the size of the phone. My phone is smaller in size thus i dont have access to the buttons which minimize the volume and change the channel backwards. I also hope ya'll make the navigation buttons smoother cause while searching for something in the Jio Page app, it takes a tremendously long time to scroll in any direction.

Shaswat M: Once again the most consistent useless app this app is there to make our life easier by connecting to IoT devices but thats what it does the worst. This app just doesn't detects jio set top box ever only in 2% cases it connects otherwise in 98% case it just doesn't connect even if it connects what it does is act as an remote and that's again useless why not provide things like screen mirroring or live broadcast or keyboard option so that if i type in phone it types on the telivision.
