Tim Wright: For fire stick... Dish took an already bad app and managed to make it even worse! Super laggy, buffers more than it used too, which was already too much. Made it more awkward to navigate. Takes too long switching between channels and the picture comes in horrible but "sometimes" fixes itself after a few minutes, until you change the channel again. Oh and now some channels you can't even pause shows or rewind. You're almost better off going back to rabbit ears!! Wish I could give negative Stars!

Candy: Worst streaming app! Was terrible before but even worse since the latest update. New guide is slow/frustrating. Its blurry for a bit when selecting new channel. Also, has always gave us "not connected to internet" messages. NOT my internet connection, nor any device I'm using. (We had it increased, use direct line, many devices, deleting history, reinstall, everything) After researching I seen many others had same issue. Now with update, randomly goes black while watching since update.

Ann Jeghers: The phone app tries to connect to my hopper 400 mls away and then won't play. I've called in several times about this. When it actually does work, the sound has a tendency to cut out or be garbled. Sometimes it buffers and jumps ahead. Using fast forward or reverse is a risk factor for other failures.

Michael: This has to be the worst streaming app in the world. All my DVRs are useless since the video and sound quality playback like it was recorded on an early 2000s flip phone. Are you prepared for never ending frustration on top of it? The app constantly freezes, jumps randomly, and the rewind often turns into fast forward. What a joke. Save your time, money, and frustration and just get Xfinity.

Steven Cook: Dish Anywhere should be WORST ANYWHERE. I never write about apps, except for this one. So frustrating! It frequently jumps ahead all by itself. If you try to bounce back a few seconds it takes so long to buffer that it's already past that point and and you have to try hitting the bounce back button a few times which never works. Then it "reconnects" on you. I've had multiple contacts from Dish saying they are sorry, asking for device specs. Never any changes. Dish doesn't care. Worst app ever!

Darren King: I had an issue streaming an AMC show to Chromecast. After uninstalling/reinstalling the Dish Anywhere app, I was able to stream it. One week later, once again I can't stream it and uninstall/reinstall doesn't work. This app has never been friendly with Chromecast! Update: After downloading the 22.2.50 version of the app, my problem has been resolved. Thanks to the developers for a quick response and fix. That almost never happens. Thanks again!

Dave Sura: Well, it doesn't get much worse than this application. Works fairly well until you start wiewing. That's when the 'fun" begins, or should I say, stops, because that's what happens about 30-35 seconds into any stream from the Hopper. No amount of fiddling will cause the stream to restart. I'm talking about a simple playback from the DVR to my Android phone. I'm suspecting that it's buffering the stream so that it can continue to perform operations requested, and will not restart the stream.

Bill: 1. Too many steps to delete select episodes/seasons. DVR space would be MUCH less if we could click radio buttons beside episodes or entire seasons to delete all at once. 2. Blue border on DVR selected show? 90% of icons are BLUE! 3. Most options end with a return to the main DVR screen as opposed to "where I left off". Again, resulting in too many clicks and a reduction in user friendliness. 4. Last channel should record while in DVR. Did anyone actually use your program before fielding it?

Forrest Churchill: The only thing that plays on the dish app is ads... good or bad internet, it can't and doesn't stream video and if it stops you can't resume without watching the same 6 ads hoping you are even in the right spot. Watching programs take at least an hour, longer or movies 2 to 3 hours!!! It never gets better. Apparently after reading reviews this has been the case for the last 2 years at least. I guess that means Dish hasn't taken the apps complete failure and poor customer reviews seriously!!!

Myra Singleton: They were pretty decent before but everything you turn around they are taking a channel away. Raising the prices does not help. Functions on the app don't work and irks my nerves. The TV remote option is useless. It used to work be a alternative to use if something ever goes wrong w our remotes. But, now nothing. Please fix the issue
