Cm Mc: Less than average. Since most recent update (March 2022?) it doesn't record complete data. Several people at my gym have the same observations. New version looks clean/elementary but is difficult to navigate and not well organized. Hate it. But my club uses it so I've no choice. Don't waste money on the new device unless you swim...you can't get a good response on the wrist device for anything other than swimming.

Jim Goodwin: I was really pissed w/this app. It would stop working. But it's the belts that seem to wear out after about a year or so. The readings would get spotty and then finally stop working. I've had the device x3 years now and have needed x3 new belts to keep it working. Once a week I use cold water to wash the sweat and gel (electrolyte) off. That could be hastening the eventual death of the belt. With a new belt it works very well. It's easy to get a replacement online. And, most importantly not real expensive. An excellent training aid to keep yer cardio up (or down) where it needs to be.

Charles White: UX for the app needs a lot of work. It's not smooth, very clunky, but works. It displays everything you need and the feed is easy to scroll. It really just looks bad. The band itself has a number of issues too. Trouble connecting to bluetooth and sometimes it cuts in and out during workouts losing your heartbeat and the subsequent MEPs. Really enjoying the competition and the little challenges it has. All of this can be fixed and I can't wait till it is!

A Google user: The overall myzone concept is a good one, the execution is lacking. One of the those I've talked to using the system is the lack of trimming the workout. Once the belt detects it is on the workout begins. However, if you are still warming or preparing to start, that is a lot of wasted time being accounted for in the summary. There should be a way to trim the workout after the fact or at least indicate a stary/end with the app real time. Overall, we found the quality of the belt and device poor.

A Google user: Honestly, WHEN it works, it's amazing and I depend on it. When you do have a concern or issue, tech support is awful and can take over 2 weeks to get to you via email ONLY. The belt works on and off. Im fairly tech savvy but if your ok with trying to figure things out yourself, then it's okay. I find myself frustrated more than happy with device performance. As mentioned, when it's tracking, it's great I'm torn.

A Google user: The UI isn't always the most intuitive. For example, pressing the back button will try to exit the app instead of going back to the last screen. But I do love how it tracks my workouts with the myzone belt. Do wish there was some integration for other devices like my galaxy watch but then the belt wouldn't be such a selling point at my gym, right? lol

A Google user: App interface is generally intuitive and clear, core functionality easy to use. It would be nice if you could more precisely identify when you want to start and stop a workout. Also, the sync of whatever 'moves' you have on your device (to your mobile) is not intuitive and quirky. App tries to make this automatic, but in the process makes it tedious. An obvious 'sync' button to manually do it would be much more intuitive (and less confusing). App also sometimes has minor hiccups. For example, at times when monitoring a workout on the mobile, after approx. 10 mins it just restarts the workout (as if you've just started). And frequently when viewing workouts from connections on the HOME screen, when you LIKE a workout, then refresh, your LIKE is removed. And your LIKE's don't seem to sync with what you see on the web either. Overall good, but these issues really do spoil the potential of this device. I hope they will be resolved, and if so I'll update this review..

A Google user: Personal Trainer & Athlete here. Don't use Myzone. You can't adjust your heart rate range; it sets it for you automatically. There are options to put in extra info, like body fat %, but it doesn't provide a method to calculate or measure. Back button in the app closes it. Workout screen doesn't let you type in what you did for your workout, during your workout. You can't search for challenges. The time of day is off. Gets out of sync if you turn off your phone screen. The app is a mess.

A Google user: I love the MyZone MZ-3 band and tracking concept, but the app is extremely frustrating. Finding what you want is cumbersome, and interacting with the MZ-3 band is the worst process ever. My biggest issue is that stopping a workout from streaming to the app can only be achieved by disconnecting the module from the band, which puts it into sleep mode. However, the module can't upload data to the app while in sleep mode, which means it can't upload the last workout until it's reconnected to the band and a workout is streaming to the app. Reconnecting it for this purpose creates "phantom" workouts that are only there because you are trying to download your last workout. Confusing? I know. A simple way to start and stop the workouts that will then trigger the upload (when connected to WIFI) is needed very badly.

A Google user: I got it in November 2018. It worked great when I got it. It crashes alot. It will either instantly connect, or it can take 10minutes or more. Lately, this month, it takes FOREVER!!! (If it doesn't crash-didnt do that prior to the update that was supposed to fix crashes- which mine didn't do. So in essence, they broke what wasn't broke to begin with. Oh, and it doesnt save the fitness test data anywhere, once you class see out, can't review. never imports the fitness test data. I have to manually enter it if I remember it. (Todays date, OCT 15)
