When a chess piece is placed in the city, it becomes a Knight, giving you points when a city is completed. Each square of that city is worth 2 points.
3. Priests and Monasteries
Place your chess pieces in the monastery, and call it a priest. A monastery cell is completed when it is completely surrounded by eight other cells around. Then you get 9 points.
4. Farmers on the Coal
Any boulders on the field are farmers and only scores at the end of the game corresponding to the number of completed cities that are in the pasture. Each city has 3 points.
Each time you earn your score, you will re-enter the set, and you can use it to place the next turn. When the game card ends. Each person will receive points during the game (thanks to the set of chess pieces) and points at the end of the corresponding game. Many winners win!

Jeff: Great fun when it works, but can't recommend in its current state. Players routinely refuse to use the Dragon expansion because it freezes/crashes constantly. About 20% of ALL games seem to end prematurely due to bugs/errors that cannot be resolved. No one should pay for an app that simply isn't functional a large portion of the time you use it.

Juan Torres: I really like Carcassonne. The game works, but only when it want to. I have encountered several bugs with the game. I had to forfeit several games due to AI not making a move and causing the game to freeze. Every time you exit the game for whatever reason, the game forces you to restart the game and sometimes you have to login to your account again. The developers really need to fix the AI it feels clunky and slow. This is unacceptable for a 5+ dollar game and that's not including expansions.

Lindsay Silcox: Love the game, mobile app could be good but it's super glitchy. I have to log in every time. If I get a message and take a brief moment to look at it when I return to the game 80%+ of the time the game glitches out and does not show up in the resume game section. If I do get to return to the game, it glitches out further and often produces an error and then kicks me out with nothing showing in the resume section. I hope this review will help the developers find the error and fix it so I can play

Kat Besio: Occasionally glitchy. Exs: A piece never shows up, an error occurs and won't let you back in, placing your tile boots you from game, your pieces stay in a completed city, etc. It's also unfair that time ticks while scoring. Especially in the bigger expansions where every piece is accounted for in a huge city. Overall really user friendly and fun.

Quincy Phillips: First, I love this game. It is extremely fun and is challenging when playing experienced players. Problems: My wife and I frequently play over the course of a few days. When one of us plays the last tile, unless the other has the game open at the time there is no way to see the final results. This is problematic. It should offer the opponent the opportunity to view the final scoring when they open the app back up. Second, the app crashes too often for a paid app. Five stars when problems fixed.

Kevin Bartels: This game is good but has a few problems. 1) If you complete a game before time ends the clock still runs and gives an out of time loss message while scoring 2) If you change apps during the middle of a game you will have to reload. Very annoying and sometimes doesn't reload. 3) most frustrating is I have multiple devices with the game installed. I paid for expansions on the tablet, but they are not on my mobile. Same Asmodee ID same Google play account. Support is completely unresponsive.

Katherine Koteles: Love the traditional game. The app version is very true to the original. Great graphics. One problem I have a lot is connecting to the servers. I have weak signal strength at home so I am typically trying to connect via wifi but I constantly get an error saying I can't and should check my internet settings. My wifi works fine on all devices and this app seems to be the only one with any issues

A Google user: Ok this is a great game. Fun, challenging yet simple, addictive. Here's the thing though, it's not the game that gets 3 stars. It's the app - it has a huuuuuuge memory leak. It drains my phone so fast, and it uses battery so much, that it literally (not figuratively) gets uncomfortably warm to hold. I know, for a fact, it's this app that causes the drain. Fix it and I'll fix my rating.

A Google user: Carcassonne is a great game. This version is pretty good graphically and use interface wise. However it has a huge flaw. when playing online you are given ac time limit. unfortunately it that time expires you are about to see the outcome of the game...even if you have already finished your last move and are just waiting for the computer to calculate the score. it's super unsatisfying to play a while have and not find it who won.

I've been stuck not being able to go into my online games w friends for about 2 months now. There is no way to resign or delete those games from my ongoing games and every time I try to get in the game gets stuck in a loop of trying to enter and finding an error. I really want to give this higher rating but I can't.
