It's completely useless, I can't even activate it, possibly because my BankID was issued by wrong bank. Why is the SIM based BankID on mobile being closed down??

Valdis Ozols: I'm so glad they switched to app. I was having so many problems via Mobile. Using app for few month now without any issues but when I was using mobile I had so many problems approving anything after entering Pin it always got stuck on "sending" now all problems are gone always done with first try.

Erik Blake: Won't allow be to use my kode-brikke to register with the app (claims my information is not "updated" whatever that means - the bank has no problem with my information and it is all correct). The alternative registration method requires a Norwegian mobile number which I don't have (country code must be +47). Therefore, I cannot use this app.

David Cox: Absolutely useless. Can't log into either of my 2 banks without BankID. Can't activate BankID without logging into either of my banks, both of which require BankID. Am now locked out of everything and just been told "wait 48 hours" while backlog of similarly impacted users is addressed. App even crashes on Android when not yet activated. Heaven knows if it will be stable if I ever get to use it. Disgraceful. As a software developer I would be fired if I rolled out software & processes this bad.

Lars Chr. Lura: Working fine on 1.6.3 until 2.0.1 came out briefly 30.09, & was removed only to be replaced by 1.6.3 again. Someone made an oopsie, or so I thought. Fast forward to 2.0.2 & it tells me my stock Android 12 phone is rooted. Have talked to my bank several times, but they're not the devs of this waste of bytes, so what can they do? 2.0.3 comes out, same problem. No biometrics either. It's going to be a lot of fun when BankID on mobile shuts down. Edit: 2.0.4 fixed it for now. Thanks for the reply.

Tikita: I totally agree with "Wenetela Wolf". Quote: "Being forced to download this on an already overloaded phone. This is replacing a perfectly functional BankID on mobile, and it is a very time consuming, slow and irritating app. Keeps freezing and one has to manually open it every time one is trying to use a BankID from a computer browser. So fun ... Not. Doesn't even have the automatic pop up notification function on the phone. Why simplify when we can complicate, right?!"

Lars Larsen: I am being forced to use this, and it is immediately a catastrophe. When trying to do the "ID-check" the app got permanently stuck on a screen saying "An error occurred while connecting to the server. Check your internet connection and try again.". The developer says to activate NFC, which I thought was ridiculous because NFC has nothing to do with QR codes (or the error message the app gives me), but I tried it anyway, and predictably it still doesn't work and I get the exact same error message.
