XotiX Gamer: When I intially downloaded this app it was very easy to use. Great for anyone that is a first time investor, it makes it very simple. To be honest I use it like a savings account. So over the year I have had the app the menu has become more difficult to navigate the app constantly wants you to sign up for their debit/credit card, sign up accounts for acrons futures etc etc. With each new thing they add it gets harder and harder to navigate to what you want. They tend to spam you with emails to.

C. Pearson: The bad: Lacks basic details that other investing apps have and the website is not much better. The round-up feature only works with a few banks. Customer service is not that great. Also the widget doesn't sync/update unless you resize the widget. The good: Nice UI design that makes it easy to navigate. Not the best, but is a solid app to start investing small amounts at a time.

Miles Gilblair: I love the app! My only complaint is that there should be more options for custom multipliers on roundups. I l'm finding that 3x isn't enough but 10x is far too much, so the ability to set my own multiplier would be great. Other than that, it's great! Perfect for people who have trouble saving long term or don't know where to start. Super convenient and user friendly.

A Google user: I really enjoy this app and how it works. It's great for beginners looking to invest. The only things I would like to see changed are how the app gives you the history info. The graphs are ok but there should be an option where it tells you each days gains and losses in a list. Like how a bank statement tells you your withdrawals, charges, and deposits. That way you can see the weekly recurring, the round ups, and what you made or lost from the market separately for each day.

A Google user: It is VERY hard to find where to withdraw your money. This app is mediocre to bad at investing, the $1 a month fee eats up all your dividends and then some. However, the app is VERY good at automating savings, and periodically transferring to a high yield savings account is a good way to use the app. Give me a 2% savings account option in the app and I'd never have to transfer money out!

A Google user: Update: Impossible to cancel membership, I've tried 3 times myself and asked customer service to close ALL of my accounts 3 times. Still getting charged a monthly fee. Very helpful for someone like me that struggles to save money. Easy to set up and monitor. However, the cost still outweighs my gains so we'll see if it ends up being worth keeping after letting it work for a while.

A Google user: Very simple and intuitive app. Help is usually there pretty quickly when you need it for questions and such. Plus, the price is dirt cheap. Personally, I wouldn't mind if it costed more, I'd want acorns to be as stable as possible. The only thing I feel the app is lacking is a visual display of a numerical amount of how much money you can still deposit into your IRA without going over the limit for the year. Other than that, it's an absolutely amazing app with other nifty features!

A Google user: The UI updates are rubbish. My account details are now secondary to foofy illustrations and content better suited to an email I can mark as spam. It takes too many steps to put in a one time deposit, and the whole time you deal with lengthy, unnecessary screen transition animations. They have rebranded their products so rather than an investment account you have "Core". What does that mean? Only they know. But it takes several clicks to get to. In the meantime feel free to navigate around financial products that either 1) you don't want or 2) they aren't currently offering. Imagine this was a bank. Just let me get in and get the f out.

A Google user: I like the Acorns service. I don't like the app redesign. While it does work, it now takes too many clicks to get to the info I want. And the animations (while they look nice) also just take yo time. I shouldn't have to click 4 times just to get to the graph. Please take a look at the organization of the app and reduce the number of clicks to get to commonly used features. Thanks.

A Google user: It's a great idea, but the UI is not quite intuitive. I find myself looking for screens I'd seen before, but not remembering how I got there. I don't like that the default "Present" screen is a long scrolling list with 85% unnecessary info. A feature that would make this a five star app: either push or email notifications regarding investments, whether that be a recurring or round up. Really I just want to know 1) when my money is moving from my bank to Acorns, and 2) how my portfolio is performing.
