Ben T: Sept 22 Update causes app to trigger not responding error on Android 12. Just add the lights to Google and skip the app.

Thomas Jackson: Lights went offline yesterday and app indicated server error. Now the app keeps looping me through the login procedure. Lights are now the equivalent of $30 paperweights. I'd give zero stars if i could.

mielieu: Slow, unresponsive, frequently needs restarting, clunky interface, doesn't save settings. This is the worst app on my phone.

Ginnam Kama: Been using for 5 years. Light/color adjustments, google assistant everything works fine. Not sure how the music flow works, not well synced it seems.

Akiirah: Updated and lost all my favorite colors / custom profiles, and trying to save new ones says "failed to save" which is really aggravating. And this app leaves much to be desired. Like having a favorite color widget so I don't have to keep opening the app to access the colors I wasn't. And the ability to reduce the brightness even more than the software allows.

Mitchell Gamble: Resetting a Lightstrip with this app and trying to link it again took far too long, and I am not new to smart home devices. The connection process is unreliable. The strangest issue was that it wouldn't show my wifi network as a connection option for the light unless I disconnected from it with my phone. It seems to struggle with networks where both 2.4 and 5 GHz have the same SSID, which is quite common. It's fine when it's set up and nothing goes wrong.

A Google user: Now that the main functionality has been restored after I got locked out entierly, I can give the app a proper review. Overall the functionality I need is there and I'm fairly satisfied. I don't use any voice integration, so I can't comment on that front. However, I do have a few suggestions to improve the usefulness of the app. 1. It would be nice if the device view allowed users to sort their devices manually instead of being left in the order they were added to the app. Sure, I can group devices into rooms, but if I want to control the lights in a different room, I have to switch between rooms, so I like to stay on the global device overview and just turn on individual lights from there. That's why I'd like to group devices in the same room together there as well manually. 2. Bulk time management is not possible as of right now. Setting timers has to be done on a device-by-device basis. Would be nice if theses things could be collected or shared between devices easily. 3. The color picker could use a numeric input so you can choose a precise color. It already shows the numeric values in the saved favorites, but there's no way to manually input them. Same thing with the color temperature if you're only intending to use white light. 4. Some of my bulbs have a tendency to show up as offline sometimes. It's nothing major, just cut and reinstate power to the device and it usually gets picked up in seconds. But it's still a bit of an annoyance. 5. I'd like more features of the regular RGB-Bulb to be made available for the colored ambient light of the Crystal Pendant lamp. As of right now, it seems rather limited. For example, when I create a scene and add the Crystal Pendant lamp to it, I can only set up the main white light in terms of color warmth and brightness, but I can't set a preferred color or brightness for the upward facing ambient lights. Seems like a rather glaring omission to me.

A Google user: Overall the app works well and is intuitive. I have only 1 yeelight smart LED bulb atm (more to come for sure), so I don't know if it works wel for multiple at once. Some issues however: - Making a new favorite sometimes doesn't use the current settings. - The "dimmer widget" would be better if it also had a small I/O button. - The colour or white temperature selection sometimes doesn't respond and it jumps back to the actual setting after about 1 second.

A Google user: Its good when it works. My yeelight frequently disconnects and i have to turn it on and off again. No function for light to automatically turn off when sunrise? Also very hard to link to google home. Tried too many times with error. Also error updating the light bulb. Edit: Thanks for the info. Indeed the server was having an issue. Manage to relink and update the next day. Hope to see if you could add function that turn on or off lights based on the time?
