Quang Tran: Amazing that they are able to get this game working on phones when PCs have some trouble running it. It's great that they also work to get this to work on newer phones as well, I was worried that they wouldn't when the S22 was launched but they eventually got it to work on it. And it works great! Played it through twice with no big issues.

X-Isle The Wanderer: SPOILER WARNING IN COMPLAINT 3. Absolutely love this series. Only complaints about the port is 1) It crashes more than I'd like. 2) The startup load time takes 5 ever. And 3) there is no way to disable the WotC content, meaning you don't get to experience the "simulated" world that the aliens have you running in the base game, and only experience the "real" world that you experience in WotC.

GeFeHeDe: It's good, but I would play it on literally the best snap dragon, and even on the lowest settings it would crash constantly. It would about 2-3 hours into the game, and continue to crash around that threshold not allowing me to play for more than that time, and forcing me to save constantly. Even playing on the lowest graphics settings didn't fix this. The snapdragon at the time was the 888+ soc. But other than the constant crashes it's a great game.

Asbeel Grigori: Love the XCOM games, I play on console so the bugs are just an trademark of XCOM to me, PC is the ONLY platform this series is better to experience. As for this mobile version, I can't complain. There are some things I'd do better but if no one is addressing the bugs on console... What's the point of wasting my breath here... All in all this is a great game 4 - 5!

Danny Foulke: Lemme begin with this. I have this on PC and love it. My PC at the time of the game's release could barely run it. Barely. Getting this working on my phone is a miracle. Massive appluad for that alone. But it doesn't stop there. The way the controls have been designed, placed, and the response from the developers in reviews are all top notch. It even feels like they've patched the game to fix them as the problems I've read about aren't the case for me. Load times are short. Gameplay is smooth.

Dorien Rose: Just barely 5* because it is so prone to locking up and crashing. I am on a Galaxy s21 and still crashes about once per hour. Luckily the game auto saves each turn so it never loses much progress. Looks and sounds great and the touch screen works well solid port of a very solid game aside from that.

Michael Bryner: Phenomenal. I don't normally rate games. But this port functions better on my S20 than it does on my PS4 and I just completed my first playthrough. We'll worth the money and it runs very well. It glitches a bit on overwatch shots and the blademaster ability with enemy movements, but that's the worst I've had with it. Very few crashes and very few buggy moments. Very well made mobile port!

Jason Fink aka earthwulf (Earthwulf): Excellent port of XCOM 2. Only reason I put it at 80% hit rate is a wonky save file system, especially with Ironman. I am often asked if I want to save local or cloud files when I log in. In Ironman mode, where you get only one save, 75% of the time when I try to log back into the my game it only has a save file from 1, 2 or 3 missions before. I don't want to repeat those. So my advice: play the game but avoid Ironman.

Justin Pogue: I had trepidation going into the purchase that my hardware (Samsung S9+) wouldn't adequately run the game and I would have to get a newer, larger tablet to do so. Imagine my surprise when I found that my phone screen does just fine, and with all the touch controls including zoom being so dang intuitive this has been a joy to port over from PC play only! I just permadeathed the first of the Chosen and the game has so far crashed only once, and it did so at a good point anyway. Perfection.

Epic Bro Esquire: It's meh. The ui is pretty good and the graphics are great for a mobile game. The stuff that bothers me and makes the game unplayable for me is the overwatch function and the travel function. When you tell a character to do overwatch the game will ask you if you want the character you selected to do overwatch or.. EVERYONE. Running is ok but the game only chose you how far you can travel while also carrying out an action. It doesn't show you the maximum distance unless you tap out of bounds.
