D Gib: After last update, metnotes drawer has to be the most invasive, useless addin. Put it where highway and weather alerts are. FIX THE RADAR, cloud cover, lightning strikes, differences between rain and snow. What has happened to the radar map everything is white on grey. No land details available anymore, looks terrible,. Bring back the old map. Now, there is a covid trend button that doesn't work. Great addition NOT.

Rez Matèz: I've tried other forcast apps and this one is the best i've found. It is a government of Canada app, thus HAS NO ADDS and is meteorogically very accurate. The weather radar is superb -- clear, zoomable and shows exactly where you are thanks to GPS location. It even shows streets when you zoom in and all of Canada when you zoom out. The long range and one day forcast formats are perfect: concise and allow easy interpretation. What needs fixing: No landscape orientation, just portrait! Pls fix.

Samantha P: Great weather app for Canada! No ads, hourly and weekly forecasts, extreme weather alerts - everything I need. Also includes interesting info-posts about weather-related topics. The radar feature always crashed the app if I tried to use it on my older phone (android 6), but works fine on my newer one (I just avoided opening it on the old phone - everything else worked okay). I don't use the widget, so no issues there.

Michael Hagley: So, I believe the government forecasts are good and reliable. I wish: the app had a location based option so the weather displayed is for where you are; that you could get international city data; that you could see multiple cities in the app by scrolling through them; and that it had a reload button so that you could force it to update when it was stale.

A Google user: Good app. The widget needs some improvements though. The text is only available in black and many of my wallpapers are dark so the text gets completely lost. If the devs could add an option to choose text colour (even just white or black would be good). Also, it would be nice if the time and date were included in the widget info.

A Google user: Great, intuitive, clear, legible interface. Excellent weather notifications. No ads. International locations can be accessed through Settings. Some suggestions: 1. Add widget settings. Currently, transparency can be set only at widget installation time. Enable long press for widget settings 2. Consider easier access to int'l locations, possibly saving them alongside the CA ones. Overall, great app!

A Google user: I really like the app and it works well for my location. There are some minor niggles, for instance the left & right swipes inconsistently move the whole pane or just its contents, and it would be helpful if the main page with current conditions also gave today's high & low temps at a glance. That said, I am marking it down to 3 stars only because it doesn't work with Android Q Beta (at least up to Beta 3), hope that can be fixed soon.

A Google user: The actual app is ok- fairly concise and easy to use, however, Is there a way I'm not seeing to shut off sound notifications? I travel 85 km each way to work and every town I go through gives me a sound notification of weather. I see that you can shut off your "saved notifications" but it says on the app "you will always receive weather alert notifications for your current location when your device location services are turned on." I don't want to have to shut off my google maps (where I CAN shut off sound notifications) so if there isn't a way to do this, I'm deleting this app.

A Google user: Just installed your app, widget shows -6C but when you open an app it show -9, pretty funny but not useful at all. Also: 1. when you make widget transparent, numbers are black and not visible on the dark background, it would be nice to have an option to make numbers white. 2. There are more then one station in the city (for instance in Calgary - airport and Olympic park) and on the website you can see them but app gives you access only to one

A Google user: Excellent app so far. I like the simple uncluttered screens with touch and links to more pages, that way you don't have to scroll pages to get quick info you want. Would like quality of life options like widget update frequency and customizing weather alerts that you choose to receive/ignore, or at the very least dismiss alerts so they don't clutter the weather page (collapse is ok but still takes space).
