Rob Wolf: What's the hold up??????? You have received several bad comments about the app crashing. Here's a new one. When I visit a web site I get the "FORBIDDEN " message. Now I am also getting this on my desktop computer, however I can change TOR circuits and gain access. This function is not available with the mobile app version. Two suggestions... 1. Please fix the instability of the mobile app. 2. Incorporate all features of the desktop version " ability to change circuit or ID. Thanks, Wolf

R R: Love this browser! Edit: Since Feb 22 the app is crashing constantly. At least 22 times in the past few weeks. I updated (that made it worse), uninstalled, reinstalled, checked settings, cleared cache... Nothing is helping. I have never had this issue before, but now the only way I can have a functioning phone is to get rid of this app. Which sucks. I really hope this is fixed soon. Tor is a great browser usually.

C Rob: I run a tor bridge at home to support tor from my PC. For those who want an automatic connection, instead of hitting the connect button, I don't. I don't want that automatic connection clogging up my bridge or any other bridge. Would definitely degrade the network overall if automatic connection became the norm. Just my two cents. Tor is great. Support a free, open and private internet. Support tor.

J B: They added back the "Quit" menu option in latest update & I appreciate them listening to our feedback. Still cannot change the tor nodes/route as on the desktop version. That feature has been absolutely needed here for YEARS because some routes are horribly slow and/or get routed through undesirable countries from a security and privacy perspective. Can't even see the node countries. Please find a way to add these features on Android. Will increase rating to five stars when that happens.

Raaven O'Quinn: I stopped allowing it to update when it asked for permission to access my location. I kept hoping that a browser committed to privacy would get rid of that requirement, but it didn't. Finally decided to delete when I saw that even newer versions lost the quit option, making it harder to delete history and cookies. It's sounding less and less like a privacy-centered app, and there are other options that are faster, with very little less privacy than the current TOR version. Do better.

Dan L: Pretty good anonymizing software. Wish it had a step by step in setting it up though as it doesn't make it clear that you may have to set up and use a bridge under Settings-Tor Network in order to connect properly. Second I wish that the first search box was movable as things on the bottom of the screen get crowded as they get jumbled by the nav pop up sometimes and you hit back or close.

Jorge Urcaregui Placer: It stopped working on Sept. 3rd. This is not the first time an update breaks TOR. It has happened in Windows10, OS X high sierra and now Android 9. In my experience TOR won't be operational in at least 4 to 6 months. When it works the app is great and delivers excellent service. Edit 12/2020, TOR has been working smoothly for months. Its performance is much better and faster.

Nathan Detroit: Haven't used TB in a long time so I was worried by all the complaints about the latest update. It works fine so far. I visited some clearnet and onion sites and downloaded some small files with no problems. The only complaint I have is the logo underlay behind the keyboard which is a nuisance. Also the lack of a back button that I can find. Using the system back button always feels like I'm going to exit the app by accident. I don't remember if it's always been this way.

Martin Noe: Very slow at times. Needs better customization. Option to open new tab in foreground automatically and not having to click switch on every tab, to do so. Option to stop refreshing background pages, it's very annoying to go back to an original page only to find it has refreshed back to the beginning again. I will update my rating to 4 or 5 stars as things improve.

A Google user: Issues have been fixed now it appears. Play store download is working fine. Best way to ensure privacy online. [Leaving this feedback to help others also. Developers lost a star for it not being ready to go. Works great on my old samsung j3 but kept crashing on new phone. Finally figured out to install the apk direct from website on my newer phone. If you install from play store it will not work if your android software is up to date... does work on older devices.]
