Jimmy: I love these headphones, but please make quick attention 1 touch instead of a hold. Either that, or allow ambient sound to pause or lower the music volume. Even with max ambient sound level i still can't hear certain things like people talking around me without having to hit the pause button which defeats the purpose. Quick attention works a lot better, because it not only activates ambient but also lowers the volume making it easier to hear. Holding the button down every time is inconvenient.

Alicson: NEGATIVE 6 STARS. Even when turning off voice notifications, it LOUDLY ANNOUNCES everything it does. And no matter how many times I TURN OFF Speak-to-Chat it TURNS ITSELF ON and it is disruptive and annoying. I have tried contacting Support and there does not seem to be Any. Bose was not perfect either however their customer support was attentive and reliable! These Sony headphones would be good if not for the VERY BAD software. Truly Awful experience.

Mew Fuz: Overall clean and simple to use app with a generous amount of features compared to other anc headphones. Works flawlessly, good work. 4 stars for missing dedicated ldac info and settings. I know there is a sound quality option available, but it does not include the current kbps setting and a way to switch to 990/909 or 660/606kbps and force the connection to stay at that setting regardless of signal strength. If too difficult to implement, a current signal strength and kbps meter would help!

M: A really limited experience for Android users. You also have to authorize Sony to sell your location, voice assistant interaction, and media information to access any of the features. I'd like to be able to set what 1 vs 2 clicks means on each earbud, but you can only choose from their preset list, and you can only choose 2 functionalities at any time! e.g.- You can't skip tracks, use the voice assistant, AND control the volume. You can only do 2 controls, one per side.

Brendan R: Works fine, no ads but could use some additional options. If audio is playing on one device, ie. game audio, and you want to briefly switch to another device to listen to news/podcasts/music/voicemail/etc. without disconnecting from the previous device, it would be very useful if the app had tab for switching in-between audio sources without killing the Bluetooth connection; this would keep the audio from source 1 spilling out after disconnection, & wouldn't require Bluetooth to pair again.

elite dangerous: I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't add any headphones to the app. I have sony wh ch710n and I can't add them to the app using Bluetooth settings, or nfc, because all it does is disconnect or reconnect them to my phone. If they're just not compatible with the app, there needs to be some sort of indicator or text saying that it won't work.

John Couchman: Does not have options to change sound modes. Sometimes the WF-1000XM4s will decide to not work, and the only fix then is to put them back in the charging case and take them out again to see if they feel like working then. Apps for other brands have these options, example: Jabra and Beats. When I put in these earbuds it's because I'm ready to be on the move. The expectation then is that they should 'just work,' which isn't always met. I tried to work around this in-app but couldn't.

Phil Ward: There is no way to individually edit touch settings. You're just stuck with really bad default profiles, so for single ear bud usage, there's no way to fully customize the touch for better UX. Otherwise, lots of whistles and bells to clutter the app that are rather pointless. In typical Sony fashion, they've focused more on things that aren't important like AI and made the important things feel mediocre like actual customization of the touch.

Steve Slatky: It's truly amazing how such a simple app is so bad. All it does is allow you to set your settings and it can't do that properly. 95% of the time I open this app is to disconnect the device it is stuck on or turning off the speak-to-chat feature which continues to turn it self back on at random intervals. I never want this on. And the sad attempt to gameify headphones with achievements is weird and dystopian

Clayton Cooper: The customizable features are nice but I have major connectivity issues with the headphones. I use my headphones on multiple devices and when I try to reconnect to my phone I have to force them to connect. It often takes multiple tries before it can find them. The ambient noise doesn't work for me very well, but the noise cancellation is amazing for earbuds.
