Kangaroo: Simple Home Security v10.1.1 APK + MOD (Premium Unlocked/VIP/PRO)

Paige Janke: I didn't expect much because of the price, but it STILL managed to disappoint. All I wanted was a way to see who's at my door. Instead, I get notifications for every car, cloud, and leaf ... but it certainly doesn't detect any actual people on my porch. The false negatives are actively DECREASING my safety. I have excellent WiFi and a very close router; that's not the issue. The app itself is terrible -- I can't review more than a handful of the (useless) notifications without it crashing.

Melanie Sanders: The Kangaroo doorbell camera is buggy, unreliable (at best), and it eats batteries like they're going out of style. But you get what you pay for and it was only $25, so I didn't expect much. But I DID expect the app to be more user-friendly! There's no alert or warning when the camera batteries are low/dead. Notifications that I've already dismissed appear again randomly. Plus, the notification is SUPER loud for only this app but there's no option to change it anywhere in the app settings!

Primordial Radiance: The app gives false information now. When it connects it says its armed or disarmed but not connected. When it says that it won't send alerts and randomly gives disconnect messages. Most of the time it won't connect at all. This problem persists even after completely reset everything and trying to add the device again. Not worth the time and money if it can't be consistent.

Cory Chandler: I'm giving this app 3 stars only because it takes up to 5 minutes before I get notified that someone has come to my door. I have 5g network so this shouldnt be an issue. I have the doorbell as loud as it will go but you still can't hear it. it's not loud enough!!! If it was in the middle of the night and everything off you might be able to hear it and that's only if you have perfect hearing. Other than these two issues that I'm having it works great. Easy to install in the app is easy to use

Steve DiMasi: I wish I could give negative stars. Average time for the app to tell me the motion sensor picked something up is 11 minutes and 47 seconds! I'm on a very fast network. Sometimes it gives me notifications, sometimes it doesn't. It ignores whatever preferences I've set. It pays no attention to DND and BLASTS the super alert in the middle of the night. It puts my phone in DND by itself and I miss calls. It's totally unreliable and has been for almost a year and NOTHING has been done to fix it.

Seth Davis: Trash. I started out as a big fan of the idea of a company offering lower cost security with the necessary technology becoming more available. This software, user experience, and basic necessities becoming completely unusable even on a brand new Pixel 5. From sound notification settings to capturing absolutely nothing on video record ever time to no live doorbell feed and the recordings capture absolutely nothing 100% of the time. As a techie, I'll be changing from a advocate to a critic.

Courtney Tolson: I got this on kickstarter and I want to love it so badly. I'm hoping there will be tweaks because I think it's a good concept but poorly executed. Like a lot of people said, everything triggers it, even if you set the alarm response to 8 feet, cars far off in the street trigger it. What doesn't trigger it is someone coming to your door, until it's too late to see their faces. And the images in the app take forever to load. My doorbell also doesn't ring half the time. Please work out the bugs!

Richard Allen: Didn't inform me that I had to upgrade when i purchased the unit to see my videos. It takes too long to upload the 2-3 second videos when the motion sensor is set off. Drains my cell phone battery pretty quickly. Can't delete all images from cloud either. Sometimes I don't get alerts until the next day. Very disappointed with this product. I wouldn't recommend this product especially for any security purposes.

Rob Spengler: Right now, my doorbell camera is half useless. I can't leave motion detection on without getting a notification every time a car passes on the road (well outside of the 8 ft. motion zone it's set to). My images are totally blown out no matter what setting I have it on, and half the time the gif misses the person who rang the bell or walked up to the door. It's kind of a mess. Really hoping the eventual update clears up some of these issues. I'll update if it does.

Jared Suttle: Very pleased with Kangaroo overall. A few little issues I've noticed. Privacy camera requires a very strong wifi signal to work reliably. When in home armed mode, privacy camera only records when set to "Detect Person", it doesn't record when set to Motion Detection. I think that's a bug. Live camera feed will "buffer" forever if the video orientation is switched from portrait to landscape. Support has been OK with these issues but hasn't offered much more than basic troubleshooting. It would be nice if the devs could get in there and actually try to replicate/troubleshoot problems. One last thing, I would love the option for the siren to alarm immediately instead of a voice coming on telling you to disarm the system for 15 seconds or so. I've been told that's coming but no ETA. I know this review sounds negative but I've actually been extremely pleased with the system so the little gripes I have make me want them to address them that much more.
