Jay Prusas: Syncs with Windows flawlessly. My previous notes app stopped supporting their Windows app and instead suggested using BlueStacks which I didn't want to do. Simplenote is available in the Windows app store, syncs fast and perfect. A great basic notes and lists app, which is exactly what I wanted. Very happy to have found it. No ads. Thanks devs.

Courtney Moats: Sometimes simple truly is better! I am someone who gets distracted very easily messing with all of the features an app has to offer, so the simplicity of this app is great because there's nothing to distract me- I type my note, add a tag, and I'm done! ? One suggestion: an option to add photos (only one or two) per note would be great.

Nils Boisen: I recently (and very easily) migrated all my notes from evernote to simplenote because evernote seems to have stopped working (on top of becoming increasingly annoying). I'm very happy with simplenote, using it for very basic note making with the tagging function being very important. Backing up my notes is also very important to me, including an updated hard-copy (printed) collection. My suggestion for a new function is one in which users can export selected notes to a PDF for printing, indexed (either by default or customised) by tags with a table of contents. I think it would be useful for students taking exams where printed notes are allowed, or for people needing to work with or read their notes away from digital devices (the latter being one of my needs).

Kiefer Lavely: The simplicity is it's best and worst feature. Looking to an android equivalent of Apple's Notes for simple jotting down of notes and lists. Lance K: Update: Seems like problems are fixed now. Thanks... - - Dependable until the past couple of weeks. Text has disappeared on multiple occasions, and text has replicated on multiple occasions. It's scary to lose or lose control of data. I'm using the app on S8, and the web on latest Chrome. I see the errors both locarions, multiple times. I'm happy to 5 star this again if problem is addressed.

A Google user: I love simplenote on desktop, but this app has bugs, it fails to sync correctly often, which is incredibly frustrating as it then overwrites your notes with old versions needs a fix. Update: sync issues have gotten worse since updated web app. I contacted help and they just insist nothing is wrong. Every time changing devices, the device overwrites the most recent edits. Sync is broken.

A Google user: Simplenote 2.1 is malfunctioning. When I type something into a note, the app begins automatically repeating/pasting what I just typed hundreds or thousands of times, ruining my note. This has happened on the mobile app as well as on a desktop browser. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and updating the app and the problem persists. As of now, I cannot use Simplenote because of this problem. I have emailed Simplenote regarding the problem, but have not received a response.

A Google user: I really appreciate the simplicity of this app. The markdown feature has been very beneficial in preparing sermon notes and Bible Studies. The fact that it doesn't take up much space (compared to other note-taking apps) is also very nice. A Google user: This is a great, simple app. The sync between mobile and desktop is faster than any similar apps I've seen. I just have a few things I'd like to see in both the mobile and desktop versions. 1) Untagged notes section for desktop; its on mobile. 2) Markdown and some more text editing tools for the raw text, not just the "preview" section. 3) Custom fonts or more supported fonts. 4) Theme color. I'd like to change the blue color to something else. 5) Actually be able to check checklists on mobile.

A Google user: I downloaded this app in order to sync all my notes on my android to iOS, due to compatibility issues in the switch but thankfully, it was a pain free process! It runs beautifully on both systems while maintaining a simple effectiveness. It's definitely a brilliant app but I couldn't give it five stars from the lack of editing font (ex: being able to bold, italicise and change the color) and some sort of color coding, which for me would have be the icing on the cake. My fingers are crossed for those features in the future though and I'd absolutely recommend it to others!
