Smokey D: There's no denying this is a powerful all in one emulator, but every single platform I've tried to setup on, I've had headaches with setting up libraries or getting multidisc games to work, or even getting a game to open the actual core I want. I find myself just finding it easier most of the time to still use an individual emulator per platform. The UI and usability really needs a look at this point. Specifically on Android I can't get my mouse and keyboard to register

Melvino Sin: Awesome app. It has emulators for so many different platforms (gba, ps1, ps2, n64, nds...etc). The app needs a bit of setup though, but you can easily find easy-to-follow guides on the internet for this. You can preset default emulators and controller (button) settings for each individual game, the save state/load state function is a godsend for RNG. And the best thing is the battery consumption! I left my phone running a game overnight and when i woke up, my handphone still had juice.

ihnn3: It's scarily complete as an emulator. You could theoretically run a gigantic number of games on your phone. It even has the big big plus that it's a multiplatform emulator. You probably will need other emulators for some more niche games or options, not going to lie, but it's rare. You do have to fight quite a bit with the options and it's definitely not for someone who wants a Plug and Play experience. Overall good experience, after the studying.

CloudView: A large amount of emulators (cores) in one place with tons and tons and tons of customization! But there is one problem... UI.. I have been emulating for years and I have tried every major emulator on Android and I have 50+ on PC but... I still can't navigate this app well.. it's far too confusing compared to standalone emulators. I have no idea how to change touch control layout, video settings, etc and I just download every year but fail to use this properly. I've supported from beginning tho.

Nobody Really: The better version of Retroarch for mobile. Has most everything you'd need for non-PC emulation, and has run well with everything I've put on it. If a core doesn't work, or doesn't perform as well as you'd like, you've others to choose from. Touch controls can be finnicky, but in my opinion, that's just mobile gaming in general.

A Google user: Retroarch64 is phenomenal. It's a big improvement over the original, sure it's not perfect but it's the best of it's kind. Let's talk about some minor flaws: the search option doesn't work, on Atari 2600 games some of the controls doesn't work I suggest for each core, the controls change (ex. if you're playing an NES game there should only be the b and a button and the d pad) and deleting cores takes a longer process than necessary. That's all. Great emulator.

A Google user: Bug in recent build, not sure where to file a bug report: the on screen menu can't be hidden via the mapped controller hotkey combo. Retroarch is otherwise outstanding. Love that it connects and plays both on the TV (via USB C dongle) and directly on the mobile screen. It's perfect and allows you to switch between different modes depending on the situation and location. I wish mapping keys and changing settings were easier though. There's no way to reset an individual setting or clear a hotkey.

A Google user: Its much better than retroarch 32bit because well it shows and it allows me to play more games than before example, I wanted to play majoras mask but the textures were horrible to say the least but now with this app I can play the game 60fps and with a shader and the textures are fine but I hope you fix this but I found a bug where if you try to change the volume during the game it crashes the entire app! And it kinda ruins the fun so hope youncan fix this thanks.

A Google user: Incredibly ambitious project that does so much. I hope it can continue to evolve, eventually adding even more emus (ti-99/4a maybe?) & perhaps auto-config ability where u simply choose a rom & it auto-loads needed core (based on file type), guesses best core version for ur device, grabs art for that rom if needed, etc. i still can't get amiga games to work on Android w/ either version of retroarch, but it's probably due to my own ignorance so i'll look 4 a guide. Thanks for all your hard work.

A Google user: Can't change the save game directory and by default it saves to a place I need root access to get to. I shouldn't have to root my phone to back up save files. This is the only emulator that supports retro achievements on android and I can't use it in this state. I like to game on pc then take the save file to my phone and continue my achievement hinting on the go. Please change this needles restriction!
