A Google user: I agree with all the recent reviews. The app used to be brilliant, but since the last update I have been having the same issue with downloads continuing without sound if paused and then returning to the beginning once I've closed down the app. Very irritating if you are driving and get a call. Also, I've never been able to subscribe to pod casts, there is no option, only to download. Sort it out Global

A Google user: It used to be a great app which I used to listen to Chris Moyles on catch up everyday. Unfortunately due to an update the sound drops whenever I pause the app. This means I have to restart the app and start over, which also sometimes resets my place in the downloaded file so I have to find my place again. This wouldn't be an issue if it happened once in a blue moon but now it's EVERY TIME I USE THE DAMN THING.

A Google user: Used to be great but is very unreliable of late. Downloaded shows can't be paused without having to shut down app completely and restart from the beginning. Also it is very inconvenient that you can't subscribe to the Podcasts and instead have to manually search and download every week. Needs a major upgrade. I used to love this app.

A Google user: Used to be a great app. Use listen again all the time for Chris Moyles but it crashes every time I pause it. When I press play again the show time counts down but no sound comes out. Have to shut it down and restart it to get sound again. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall but that doesn't work it. App has gone downhill since it merged with the other global stations. Please sort this out.

A Google user: I'm so gutted that this is app is as bad as it is. I've been using the app on iPhone for a couple of years. Mainly to listen to the Chris Moyles Show on catch up. In general it's worked fine on iPhone. I downloaded the android version as I have changed phones and it is the worst app I've ever had to try to use. The subscribed shows never download, whether I select WiFi only or mobile data. When you listen to listen again it crashes if you pause it. So the app has to be restarted. Utter useless

A Google user: I have a subscription to a radio show so the shows should download automatically after airing and the file should be deleted after a week. I just keep seeing 'download failed' even though I'm connected to a wifi network and old files will stay there unless I manually download - it's the most annoying thing. I have to keep re-installing the app and even when I do, it still sometimes doesn't work. Close to not bothering anymore if functionality is this rubbish.

A Google user: No longer reliable! The app now stops playing every few minutes randomly for no apparent reason. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm streaming live, streaming catch up or playing downloads it always does it. this means it's no longer useful for listening in the car. Very annoying! Please fix this ASAP as the app is pretty much useless with this issue.

A Google user: I love the Chris Moyles show - it is pretty much the only radio I listen to. I never get the chance to listen live so have been heavily reliant on this App to listen in Catch Up mode. For the past 2 years or so I have faithfully used this app on android without too much drama - there were a few minor bugs but nothing that I couldn't cope with. I've always been a bit disappointed that there has been more focus on iOS than Android and that the promised podcasts have never materialised on Android. I recently reinstalled the latest version of the app which has turned something useful into something useless. The app keeps crashing. Any interruption (phone call, loss of signal, etc) and I have to reboot the app as it fails to pick up. Recently I reinstalled the app to try to fix this problem and couldn't get any playback at all. I eventually found the only way to get back to service was to select a different dj catch up to force the app off the catch up I wanted then back to the CM Show. Now playing back but not sure what will happen when interrupted. Please fix the technical debt, bugs and put some focus into the android app then this will become a 5* app

A Google user: Pain in the arse. Takes you to Global radio with loads of other stations. Occasionally starts playing other stations rather than Radio X. Couldn't get the radio to turn off at all on 3 occasions and had to restart my phone to get it off. Drop downs from the top of the screen drop down every few minutes for about 10 seconds covering the top of the screen and interrupting what you are doing.

A Google user: Used to love this app, but then Global decided I wanted to access all of their radio stations at the same time. Who does that?! How many people listen to multiple stations each day?! Now, this app decides I need to know latest track played by forcing a drop-down banner over whatever I'm doing, telling me. Every single song. And every time a song ends, you get another drop-down changing it from the song to just Radio X again, you can't stop it, and it overrides whatever you were already doing. The app stops without warning, and continues playing after I've closed it, and even refuses to stop playing at all, sometimes. This app is now my nightmare. If you can't do clever, do simple well. Don't make a shyte bodge job and look like idiots. I don't want menus and sub-menus, I want live radio and catch-up. Get that right before you start trying to be smart@rses, yeah?
